WEDNESDAY, NOT THURSDAY...SORRY

, Good Morning Sweet Sisters,

I'm so blessed this morning.  Colleen, Trent, and the Munchkins, are back in town.  Yippee!!!  I finished the baby blanket she asked me to make for her friend.  Yippee!!!.  The temps have dropped so I can mow the lawn.  Yippee!!!  God is so good.

Vickie, I'm glad Butch got the Fentanyl patch for his pain.  I hope that helps him better than the Norco.  I can't imagine the extreme pain he's been having.

Judy, I hope your Mom's shingles clear up.  I had it.  It sucks.  I hear about the shingles shot, but never got it, coz Mom never remembered me having chicken pox.  Doc says I could have had just one or two pox, and not been diagnosed.  They can give her anti-virals.  I was on them.  It cleared it up fast, but I was sick for like two days, with flu like symptoms.

Today, I'm cutting the grass, and visiting my Munchkins.

Must scoot.

Praying for everyone,

Hugs,

Trish

Good morning Trish and Carla and all my OFF sistas!

Well, I could be wrong, but my calendar says today is WEDNESDAY!!!  LOL!

I am having a tough time getting started on anything today.  It's almost 10:30 a.m., and I have not accomplished much yet.  Grrr.  I did manage to get Butch fed.  Score one for me.

I have a haircut at noon, and then I need to run by the store and pick up a few groceries.  I'm trying to use up all my perishables this week.  We are leaving for Houston on Sunday, and no telling when we'll be back.  So I'm just buying tiny amounts of eggs and milk and bread and stuff like that.  I have a lot of fruits and veggies that I need to use up this week.

This morning I set up a CarePages.com account for Butch.  I haven't sent out invites to my email list yet, but I set up the account with the name "PoeProgress".  I think I set the privacy settings so that you all can look it up just using the page name; you don't have to have a specific invite.  I think.

Anyway, I haven't entered any information there yet.  Just got the basic account set up.

I am trying to deal with all of this new Medicare stuff for Butch today.  It's really quite frustrating.  Butch needs some mail order refills done THIS WEEK.  It's already Wednesday, and they still haven't shipped the meds.  Now I'm going to have to pay for expedited shipping.  Dammit.

Butch's new pain med seems to be working better today.  It took awhile for the new pain patch to "kick in" yesterday.  Also the pain doctor prescribed the lowest dose for the patch, 25 mcg.  But one of my good friends is a pharmacist and she told me how low the dose was.  She said many people have 100mcg or higher.  So we put a second patch on him for a total of 50 mcg and that seemed to help.  I know he slept better last night.

As for me, I did sleep a little bit more last night.  I'm still waking up in the middle of the night.  It's very frustrating.  Once I am awake, my brain just will not shut off!  But I have found that if I listen to one of my audiobooks, that takes my mind off my frantic worries and I can eventually fall back asleep.

I have typed this whole post one-handed while waiting on this new mail pharmacy to finally get Butch's medicines shipped!  Had to pay an extra $10 for 2-day shipping.

Well, enough of my belly-aching.  I need to get a shower and get dressed.  Almost time for my haircut.  Maybe my afternoon will be more productive than my morning.

Love you all!

Hi Vickie,

I just fixed the day.  Hadn't had my coffee when I did that.

Glad Butch is getting some relief.  Hope you are able to get more sleep soon.

Love you.

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

I spent most of yesterday playing patient advocate for Richard. Then I got home and had to reboot Chromecast ... I was able to finally watch a ballgame on the bedroom TV. And then ... I couldn't get to sleep. I did sleep a little bit but not enough to make a difference. After I got up at 6:30, I started doing laundry. Took a nap about 8:30. About to take another one. I need to take Richard out again today to sign him up at a clinic, go to the bank and get some groceries. At least I get a meal out of this ... and lots of karma points.

I feel the sleepies coming on again. Later.....

Hi Eileen!

Just wanted to let you know that I made the "power pudding" for Butch this afternoon.  I used the first recipe, only I added a few dried prunes to the mix before I turned on the blender.  Butch liked it!  Hopefully it will do the trick.

Thanks so much for the recipe, hon!  I really appreciate it.

Thought i was the only one lost in time.

I am at the car mechanic shop. They are replacing my van's master cylinder.  God performed a miracle because they normally want full payment, but the manager is letting pay half today half on my next pay day. I nearly cried when he told me. I always believe God has his hand on me, and times like this confirm it.

Well they are almost done and i need to pay. I pray you all have a great day with much physical comfort and rest.

Blessings

Just got home from getting Grandma hugs, and reading books to Frankie, with the big kids listening.  They were showing me the great set of bunkbeds they picked up yesterday.  Trent has to rearrange them though.  He put the one that's supposed to be on the bottom on top.  Big, heavy oops.

Speaking of Oops, I did it again.  After driving a compact car for 20 years, I am still not used to my full size car, and scraped paint off my passenger side pulling into my garage.  I was trying to make sure I left room to get my lawn mower out, and now I'm upset with myself.  My beautiful red car, with white house paint, and scrapes on it.  Oh well.  I've done worse to the compacts I drove.  Totaled one, and completely destroyed the passenger doors on the next.  Sean also totaled one of my compact cars.  The paint jobs can be fixed, eventually.  Just not now.

Hugs.
